The fact that you won’t talk regularly should serve as your motivation to connect on a deeper level when you do get the chance to talk. • Make the effort to meet up with her.

No matter how much (or how well) you communicate, nothing still beats seeing each other face to face. These encounters can help reinforce your commitment and even solidify your feelings for one another. It also alleviates the longing you have for being apart. And because these encounters are few and far between, you savor and appreciate each other’s company more intensely.

• Send each other gifts.

Show your partner you care by sending her a gift every now and then. Whatever the gift it may be, at least she has something tangible to remember you by. Of course, make sure to give her something that she would like as well.
