Ultimately, they developed positive feelings for each other. As the night ended, Terry got the courage to ask if they could meet again the next day, to which she agreed.

Although Terry and Lia planned to meet, the interpreter who got them together turned out to be sick. So there was no communication between them at all. What’s worse is that they had no time or place set up to meet.

Although they were frustrated with the turn of events, they decided to move past it.

Terry met up with three other guys that evening. Meanwhile, Lia didn’t try to wait for his call, thinking that he was uninterested and had another date.

However, fate works in mysterious ways.

As Terry and his friends went into a restaurant for dinner, they came across one of our interpreters who was dining with three single Ukrainian women.

Terry called them over, and as they were sitting and talking at the same table, the interpreter randomly asked Terry what he thought of Lia.

Of course, he said that he liked her. Then, as if the red string of fate was trying to bring them together, the interpreter offered to contact Lia on his behalf.

It turns out that Lia was with a friend. However, she met with him later that night.

Time didn’t matter as they spent it together, so they ended up hanging out until 3 or 4 in the morning, talking and having a great time.

Terry and Lia were just minutes away from crossing each other’s paths.

Love Despite Limits

Loving someone foreign means that you may need to deal with certain limitations like the distance.

So, after the tour, Terry tried his best to keep in touch with Lia. However, certain circumstances at work prevented her from sending him messages.

Terry described her as having gone dark for three weeks.

Still, he waited patiently for her. And soon enough, he received a message from Lia saying that she’ll be flying over to where he is, in Phoenix.

For Terry, these things don’t just happen. It’s not part of a script.

In the end it was their love pushing through despite the limitations.
